Rambus is looking for new college graduates to join our embedded software team in Espoo for both SW development and QA roles.  

• Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment. 
• Work with the design and architecture leads for implementation requirements. 
• Develop, code, test, and debug system software. 
• Documentation of all the work performed (in all stages) 
• Ability to deep dive into the low-level code and develop necessary drivers, libraries, and integration plugins. 
• Participate and initiate code reviews. 
• Test and verification of SW products. 
• Be able to work with and support the QA team to evaluate the code and generate quality metrics. 
• Assess third party and open-source software. 

• Successful completion of MS/MSc or other relevant technical master’s course in Software engineering, security, IT etc.,  
• Have knowledge and has ability to develop applications for resource constrained embedded environments. 
• Experience with emulation environments (QEMU or similar SW emulation envs.) 
• Knowledge of device drivers, software libraries and APIs (Experience in working with open-source crypto libraries like openSSL, gptee etc is a plus) 
• Experience with Linux, RTOS, device drivers and bare metal development 

• Familiarity with SCRUM/Agile methodologies 
• Familiarity with Continuous integration systems and tools. 
• Command in C/C++, and at least one scripting language such as Python. 
• Fluency in Java, Android in a plus. 
• Knowledge of developing applications for Secure environments. 
• Initiative-taking and strong collaborator 
• Good written and verbal communication in English
