We are a dynamic, fast-growing international hi-tech company operating in Taiwan. As an HR Generalist, People Services, you will play a pivotal role in delivering HR services and solutions to our managers and employees in this demanding environment. Collaborating closely with HR Business Partners, managers, and employees, you’ll ensure the smooth operation of HR processes while constantly seeking opportunities for improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Manage HR operations activities for Taiwan and offer timely, quality responses to inquiries from managers and employees to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Maintain and update HRIS systems to ensure accurate employee records, and generate monthly reports to facilitate data-driven people decision-making.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and promote a positive work environment.
- Create great employee experiences by ensuring smooth onboarding, transfer, and exit processes.
- Coordinate international relocation processes with external partners, employees, managers, and HRBPs.
- Manage disciplinary actions by conducting thorough investigations, ensuring fairness and adherence to company policies and legal regulations. Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Legal teams to determine appropriate actions and resolutions.
- Stay informed about changes in employment laws and regulations and update HR policies and practices accordingly.
- Collaborate and align with local Benefits and Payroll teams on data and any initiatives that help create better employee experiences.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
- 5-8 years of HR experience
- Familiarity with Taiwan labor laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, preferably SAP SuccessFactors.
- Excellent planning, organizing, and detail-oriented skills.
- Customer-focused with exceptional communication abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel
- Fluent English language skills
Nice to have:
- SAP (SuccessFactors) experience.
- Knowledge in HR services best practice
