AMD Is Smiling

Advanced Micro Device's head honcho, Hector de Jesus Ruiz, is smiling more these days.

After more than two brutal years of red ink, the Sunnyvale chipmaker is making money again. AMD, which has historically played second fiddle to its much larger rival, Intel Corp., is also in unfamiliar territory as the first to produce a next-generation 64-bit microprocessor for Windows-based PCs.

I work with a fantastic recruiter who has a very successful relationship with AMD. If you are interested in speaking with this recruiter about possible employment with AMD, please contact me.
There is a company in Austin that is looking for the following:

Senior Serial IO/Signal Integrity Engineer
Should have 5+ years experience, with good knowledge of high-speed pll design and noise/jitter issues.

Please submit your resume to Todd Doering for consideration
