Job Description:


The Senior Facilities Engineer is the in house subject matter expert for all site facilities systems including, but not limited to, HVAC, Chilled Water Plant, Boilers, CDA, Waste Water Treatment, Exhaust Treatment, Process Gas and Chemical Systems, Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation, Life Safety Systems, Fire Alarm, and CCTV.
Act as BRIDG’s engineering expert on all facilities related activity.
Prepare engineering calculations for HVAC, chiller, boiler, exhaust, hydronics, and gas/specialty gas systems.
Prepare cost estimates to support facility and production equipment additions, deletions, and changes.
Prepare engineering drawings, sketches, isometrics, and specifications to support competitive bidding for equipment and construction related projects.
Act as a project manager for assigned projects. Manage and track project requirements, cost, and schedule.
Develop and document operations and maintenance procedures for facilities systems.
Develop bottoms-up and integrated program or project schedules and budgets.
Provide project management for complex facilities and tool install projects.
Identify and implement cost reduction strategies and actions.
Responsible for continuous improvement of facilities operations and maintenance programs.
Mentor and coach facilities technicians and operators.
Ability to work with various suppliers including but not limited to gas/chemical, waste, RO/DI Water, utilities, security, and building management systems.
Completes assigned project deliverables with the highest quality within budget and schedule constraints.
Track project progress on regular basis. Write & present progress reports keeping all the organizations informed and involved.
Required to be a part of the Emergency Response team. Must be able to wear a respirator.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience.
Preferences: Familiarity with semiconductor processing equipment preferred. Ability to work in a highly dynamic team environment requiring a strong work ethic, ability to be an open communicator, and ability to demonstrate great flexibility to meet the demands of BRIDG’s ramp up of operations. 10+ years of experience in facilities engineering, operations and EHS management in a semiconductor/cleanroom manufacturing setting preferred. Understanding of he Trusted Foundry/facilities program as defined by the Dept. of Defense. Strong knowledge in OSHA, applicable regulatory codes, and compliance policies. Superior organizational skills and high attention to detail. Ability to learn and communicate technical/scientific information.
