Position Summary: Our Equipment Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership for our Equipment Maintenance Technicians. They will manage all responsibilities associated with preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of tools within the fab.
Responsibilities:
•Manage 15-20 Equipment Maintenance Technicians.
•Manage maintenance activities on all Fab equipment.
•Lead improvement teams and 3D teams on shift as needed.
•Accurately forecast downtime, drive tool recovery plans, improvements/upgrades, and manage bottlenecks.
•Understand root causes and resolve through 3D and 8D processes and the Document Management system.
•Take initiative to drive department goals into specific plans of action with little direction.
•Actively involved with area ownership program.
•Work with the Operations team to set proper priorities.
•Complete Annual Performance Reviews, Career Path, and any needed disciplinary actions.
•Interview, hire, and training of new technicians.
•Properly apply human resources policies, programs and procedures such as performance review process, employee relations issues, employee motivation, etc.
The job also requires performing other duties as assigned. Percentages of time spent on job duties are estimates and may vary for each position.
Shift: B-shift: (Sunday – Tuesday, every other Wednesday, 6:00pm – 6:15am) – 10% pay differential is included for working nights.
Required Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience and/or Training:
•Demonstrated ability to organize and drive improvement teams.
•4+ years of equipment maintenance experience (semiconductor Industry preferred)
•Management experience preferred.
•Skills to work independently and with others in a team format.
•Must be self-motivated and eager to learn new equipment and procedures.
•Display high attention to detail.
US Citizenship Required: This position will require the holding of or ability to obtain government security clearance which requires U.S Citizenship.
