Automotive and Internet of Things (IoT) are the new driving businesses of semiconductor with, for instance, an expectation to have tens of billions of connected objects by 2030. The Mixed-Signal IP group, within MCU/MPU Engineering organization, is providing fully verified analog, RF and mixed-signal IPs and support for integration in NXP best in class Auto and IoT microcontrollers. The development is done on the most advanced process nodes, and spans across Europe, Asia and Americas.
To support an expanding roadmap, the group is looking for new talent. In this role, you will be expected to participate in IP and SoC verification, but also support for customers debug or internal teams development.
Your responsibilities
- Digital Verification of IPs or SoC including SW in the testbench
- Development of IP Verification Plans and testbenches
- Planning and reporting progress
- Support for customer debug and internal team development (e.g. SW), located across the world
- Improvement of way-of-working including verification, regression flows, requirement traceability, …
- Optional: AMS Verification and Real Number Modeling
Your profile
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Educational level: 5+ years of experience in SoC verification
- Strong skills in scripting & coding languages (shell, tcl, c and verilog-like)
- Expertise in debug and root cause analysis, both on simulation testbench and validation board
- Initiative, flexibility, and strong interpersonal skills are required
- Experience in AMS Verification and Real Number Modeling experience is a plus
- Knowledge of wireless connectivity protocols (Bluetooth Low-Energy, 802.15, 802.11 , …) is a plus
- Knowledge automotive standards including functional safety is a plus
- Knowledge of Power Management Units is a plus

Contract: This is a fulltime position with a permanent contract
Compensation: Besides a good salary, you will be eligible for our bonus plan, a number of vacation days based on seniority and the possibility to buy company shares with a 15% discount.
