As a Group Lead - Business Engineering, you are part of the EUV Factory Operational Excellence department. Here, you guide a motivated & diverse team of process specialists, analysts and business partners supporting the different departments. Your team’s mission is to support the EUV Factory management in realizing the targets by unlocking critical information, delivering insights and reports, enabling decision making and streamlining processes within the domains of  resource management, performance management, business analytics, Benefits management, and cycle time management

The most typical areas for investigation are:

  • Resource capacity and efficiency.
  • Cost Management and Cost drivers
  • Cycle time management and blueprints.:
  • Performance management related  to Quality, People, Delivery, Efficiency and New Product Introductions
  • Benefits Management (e.g. business case definitions & realization towards projects)
  • Data analyses to support improvement activities
  • Your team makes sure this information is readily available for the weekly and monthly performance reviews on different levels and drive the Norm Review processes, supporting our financial planning. In this role, you will enable your team to be an independent advisor of the EUV Factory leadership team and have a close link to the finance counterparts

Roles and responsibilities

You enable the Business Engineering team in Operational Excellence EUV Factory via:    

                            

  • Process specialists creating roadmaps, set standards and mature on the critical business processes on performance management, cycle time, resource management & cost.
  • Business partners directly supporting the Directors with performance management, cycle time, resource management & cost.
  • Business Intelligence & Analytics team supporting the business with data infrastructure, reporting and (self-service) analytics solutions
  • You coach Business Engineers for personal growth
  • You maintain and further increase a (physiological) safe and inclusive work environment , where employees feel supported and engaged
  • You grow and further develop the team
  • You challenge your team and the EF Staff for improvement opportunities
  • You contribute to Operational Excellence vision and transformation of the EUV Factory.
  • You drive the team to develop and improve Analytics capabilities in EUV Factory & Fact-based Decision making
  • You drive innovations within de Business Analytics and Data landscape to support volume increases and long term vision EF (Industry 4.0, Process Mining, Natural Language Processing, etc).

Education and experience

Education

Minimum Bachelor’s degree required, Masters or MBA preferred. Preferred degrees are Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or Data Analytics or Business Administration. Having a lean background or Experience with Lean, Agile/Scrum or Industry 4.0 is a pre.

Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience, preferably in a technical manufacturing/engineering environment.
Minimum 5 years of experience in people management
Proven ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads and deadlines.
Knowledge of production (control) processes.
Proven track record in leading a high performance team.
