ASML finance department operates in a dynamic environment where learning, commitment, business partnering, flexibility and continuous improvement are top of mind.

We are looking for a professional who makes difference to simplify, standardize and automate for ensuring end to end processes in place for all Asia entities of the fast growing company. (Korea/ Taiwan/ China/ Japan/ Singapore/ Malaysia)

Role and responsibilities

As a Financial accounting specialist you are expected to work on closing, reconciliation regarding general, payroll, OPEX for whole Asia entities(Korea, Taiwan, China, etc.)

• Key user for Opex processes and systems.
• Entering financial data and transactions into the ledger
• Perform monthly closing activities according to the corporate schedule
• Reviewing financial documents for accuracy and reconciling accounts
• Check open items and make clearing
• Assist in local statutory reporting and tax filing.
• Provide accounting data upon the ad-hoc basis in the timely manner.
• Contribute to enforce cross regional collaborations with finance teams in different regions
• Make recommendations for process improvement in workflow
• Any other tasks assigned by managers

Education and experience

• 1~3 years relevant experience in finance or accounting preferably in auditing environment)
• Experience in working in multinational environment
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required
• Knowledge and experience with US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP
• Ability to proficiently use MS office tools and experience in SAP is an added advantage
• Preferred professional certification (e.g USCPA/CMA/CPA)
• Fluent in written & spoken English;

• Proactive and communicative personality who can connect with other layers in fast growing company.
• Ability to multi-task, able to set priorities and work cross-functional together with other colleagues
