Our Group: Facilities’ engineering team
Part of Applied Materials Israel (AMIL) Facilities’ engineering team, managing overall provision of campus mechanical systems in terms of maintenance, sustainability, and redundancy considering business current and growing demands.
What you'll be doing:
Responsible for the active mechanical systems at Applied Material site in Rehovot.
- Responsible for the utility systems (HVAC, OFA, PCW and more)
- Performing engineering analyzes with a strategic view on system performance, system obsolescence, and the capacity of the systems in the face of changing
- Identifying the need to replace or upgrade end of life equipment (EOL), initiating and leading upgrade projects to face those needs.
- Leading the interface between active systems and projects that are carried out throughout the campus.
- responsible for the provision of changes and adjustments in existing systems required.
- The professional authority and guidance for the O&M team and serious mechanical system faults.
- The challenge of the job is to lead to a concept of proactive/predictive maintenance, to enable the highest availability of the systems, and a "zero interruption" approach to the organization.
What you should have?
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering - Must
- 2-4 years of experience in mechanical systems maintenance or utility project management in manufacturing industries
- experience in managing subcontractors and/or suppliers.
- Technical knowledge of the utility systems. advantage will be in the number of known systems.
- English - high level, ability to manage technical discussion and global communication - Must.
- Customer service awareness.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
