Senior Quality/Reliability & F/A Engineer
About this role:
This position is very much hands-on in every aspect of our products development, NPI and Production phases. The individual must have extensive Semiconductor related experience in product Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications. Has worked with leading process nodes and understands how to ensure it meets or exceeds all the qualifications and quality levels to release it and maintain it in mass production. This position is for a very senior Quality/Reliability engineering position.
Responsibilities & opportunities in this role:
- Establishes both product and company wide quality requirements
- Performs product qualifications for both Silicon, Packaging, Boards & Systems
- Responsible for RMA and F/A process
- Works closely with cross-functional teams to support new and projects
- Drive products quality requirements from development stages to volume production
- Implement & control RMA system and work very closely with customers on any issues to drive for resolution closure
- Must have in depth experience DOE and using F/A analysis to root-cause failures and issue 8D type reports
- Understands both System and ATE testing to ensure proper test coverage and flows prior to production releases
- Very familiar with all JEDEC standards pertaining to Silicon & Packaging
- Interface directly with customers to ensure timely communications and status updates for RMA, FACR or PCN notifications.
Qualifications for this role:
At minimum:
- 10+ years in Quality & Reliability & F/A
- Experience in performing all aspects of product qualifications for very advanced high performance Silicon and substrate packages
- Advanced root-cause failure analysis and DOE skills
- Developed quality process & procedures for product NPI to Mass Production
- Experience in implementation and maintaining a document control system
- BSEE, MSEE or PhD preferred in related experience
Highly valued, not required:
- Start-up experience
- Interest in advanced products for AI/ML technologies
- Experience in a fast paced environment to bring new state of the art products to volume production with the highest level of quality and reliability
- Has extensive experience in Fab process, Packaging technology and overall product qualifications
- Very familiar with all types F/A techniques and RMA resolution closure
- Works / communicates very well with internal and external customers

Compensation: At Groq, a competitive base salary is part of our comprehensive compensation package, which includes equity and benefits. For this role, the base salary range is $126,400 to $202,200, determined by your skills, qualifications, experience and internal benchmarks.
