Inside Sales Representative
About this role:
As an Inside Sales Representative at Groq, you will play a crucial role in generating new business and maintaining our company's competitive position in the market. This role requires a blend of skills in cold calling, lead generation, negotiation, and customer service. You will be responsible for reaching out potential clients, understanding their needs, and presenting our products or services as solutions. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to meet or exceed sales targets, generate new business opportunities, and build lasting relationships with clients.
Responsibilities & opportunities in this role:
- Qualify inbound leads and identify potential opportunities to be passed along to our Field Sales Representatives.
- Maintain detailed records of all sales activities including follow-ups in our CRM, Salesforce.
- Collaborate with our field marketing representative pertaining to marketing campaigns which produce inbound leads.
- Inform prospects of upcoming events
- Showcase GroqChat to prospective customers
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, AI technology, and competitors.
Qualifications for this role:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in technology or software sales.
- Understanding of High Performance Computing, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
- Technical ability to speaking with AI/ML focused customers
- Strong phone presences and experience with high volume of calls.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to persuade, motivate and influence others.
- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Experience working with CRM systems.
- Proficiency with Salesforce and Google Suite.

Compensation: At Groq, a competitive base pay is part of our comprehensive compensation package, which includes equity and benefits. For this role, the base pay range is $21.20/hr to $38.99/hr, determined by your skills, qualifications, experience and internal benchmarks.
