This position is in the Logic Technology Development team working in one of the most advanced semiconductor process technologies in the world. You will design, execute, and analyze experiments to develop the process for semiconductor transistors of the next technologies to come into the market. What you will be considered for: 

LTD Semiconductor Process Integrator Engineers are responsible for leading scientific research enabling the manufacture of innovative device architectures but not limited to: 

  • Leading scientific research enabling the manufacture of innovative device architectures coupled with the realization of these architectures.
  • Designing, executing, and analyzing experiments necessary to meet engineering specifications for their process.
  • Participate in the development of intellectual property.
  • Integrate the many individual steps necessary for the manufacture of complex microprocessors.
  • Ramp to manufacturing volumes to demonstrate the technology meets requirements while simultaneously transferring the technology to counterparts in manufacturing via the Copy Exactly! Methodology.

Qualifications


You must possess the minimum qualifications below to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. The experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

- Must possess a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics or Material Science or any degree related to semiconductor Device physics or Device fabrication.
- At least 6 months of experience or relevant coursework in one or more of the following areas:

  • Semiconductor processing
  • Semiconductor device fabrication or nanotechnology
  • Electrical characterization of transistors or other semiconductor devices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • JMP, MATLAB, scripting languages (i.e., Python, JSL, Perl, TCL), or programming languages (i.e., SQL, C/C++).
  • Hands-on experience in VLSI device fabrication and testing in the lab
  • Knowledge of basic VLSI fabrication instruments (i.e., mechanism of dry etcher; ALD (Atomic Layer Development); PECVD, etc.)
  • Experience in coordination with other departments, co-workers, etc.
