Role and responsibilities

Job Mission 

As Talent Acquisition Business Partner (TABP), you will serve as a strategic Talent Acquisition (TA) liaison between global HR Sector Business Partners and the global business leaders they partner with, ensuring alignment of talent acquisition strategies with business and HR goals. Your role focuses on fostering strong relationships with business and HR leaders. You represent the full range of local and global TA functions in the Sector HR teams, connecting business and HR objectives to TA solutions. You are a member of the global TA Leadership Team and report directly to the Head of Global Talent Acquisition.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Strategic Partnership: Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with business leaders to understand their resource needs and provide strategic talent acquisition support aligned with business objectives.

  • Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for business and global HR teams regarding TA matters, managing expectations, and providing regular updates on recruitment activities and progress.

  • Talent Acquisition Consulting: Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, offering insights and recommendations on recruitment strategies, market trends, and best practices to attract and retain top talent.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate communication, collaboration and learning between sectors, HR, and TA teams, ensuring alignment of recruitment efforts and seamless execution of talent acquisition initiatives.

  • Project management: Initiate, lead or contribute to large TA improvement projects with a change component on global level.

 

Skills and Qualifications Required

  • Relationship Management: Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, HR professionals, and recruitment stakeholders.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate ideas, influence stakeholders, and navigate complex organizational dynamics.

  • Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities to understand business objectives, assess talent needs, and develop tailored recruitment strategies that drive business success.

  • Business Acumen: Understanding of business principles and industry dynamics, with the ability to identify business needs and translate them into improvement opportunities and TA strategies.

  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to identify recruitment challenges, develop innovative solutions, and drive continuous improvement in TA practices.

Education and Experience

  • Next to proven years of experience (10+) in the required skills and qualifications, we are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

  • Proven experience in strategic TA, account management, or (HR) business partnering, with 7+ years of relevant experience.

Conclusion

As TA Business Partner, you play a crucial role in connecting business, HR, and TA, ensuring alignment of talent acquisition strategies with organizational objectives. You will work closely with the HRBP of the different business and bring TA related topics to the business leaders table. At the same time, you will work with the different TA managers, bringing the business concerns and topics, back to TA. This will be done on a global scale.

Your ability to build relationships, provide strategic guidance, and facilitate collaboration is essential for driving recruitment success and supporting business growth.
