CRE Global Projects Project Management Officer (PMO)

Job Description

The CRE Global PMO is part of the CRE Global Projects team which is led by the Head of Global Projects. The Global PMO reports directly to the Head of Global Projects.

As part of the CRE Global Projects team you will support the Global Projects (Project) Managers in their daily work by setting up and controlling the performance of the project portfolios and facilitating the control of this in a review methodology.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, manage, control and facilitate the performance of the (project) portfolios.

  • Set up, manage and control the CRE Building Generation Process (BGP).

  • Guard standards and ensure adherence to BGP process including roll out to local Project Managers.

  • Provide effective project communication (for the project portfolios) by setting up structures and platforms to share and structure information.

  • Assist in the creation of management reports for projects in the project portfolios and set up and manage collaboration between the Global Projects department and the local teams in the project portfolios.

  • Structurally and continuously initiate, drive and implement process improvements.

  • Organize, facilitate and actively participate the Global Project Maturity Assessments and Global Organizational Maturity Assessments.

  • Maintain and support the governance structure and processes required to facilitate decision making and escalation of risks, issues, and changes to scope, cost, and schedule.

  • Organize, facilitate, and participate in global team meetings and translate the outcome into a report out for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Prepare, organize and facilitate project lessons learned meetings. Translating the outcome into a report out for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Support the CRE team/ department by interpreting created reports, challenge the outcomes, raising suggestions and implementing new processes and structures.

  • Create a standardized way of working including documentation.

  • Organize and facilitate the Global Projects team off sites.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Experience

  • Experience in project support is strongly preferred; 

  • Knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Spotfire;

  • Knowledge of collaboration tools (e.g. Sharepoint, Teams);

  • Experience with implementation of change and improvement projects or ability to do so;

  • Affinity with structuring and financials for building project and real estate is an advantage.

Current scope of this position is Veldhoven. However, this may develop into a more international scope.

The role of CRE Global PMO is a full-time position (40 hours). Working part-time is negotiable as long as you are available for at least 32 hours per week.
