Senior Software Security Architect

The Senior Software Security Architect at ASML combines security standards and regulations, hardware and software knowledge into cybersecurity designs and architectures.

As a Senior Software Security Architect you anticipate potential threats and design systems to preempt them. You will use latest technologies and design in cyberphysical system design to secure and protect ASMLs high end systems. In this job you will also have a responsibility to keep the software development environment secure and protected with state of the art tools.

Role and Responsibility

• Define and document the cybersecurity reference architecture
• Maintain and deploy the software security roadmap
• Embed reference architecture and roadmap in our product roadmap
• Develop/integrate cybersecurity designs for our TwinScan systems throughout the lifecycle
• Own the security architecture for the software development environment
• Perform security reviews on our software development environment, identify gaps in security architecture, and develop a security risk management plan
• Ensure that system(s) and architecture(s) are consistent with organization's cybersecurity architecture guidelines and regulations
• Monitor & analyze vulnerabilities, decide on containment and implementation strategy

Qualifications

• Knowledge of security related regulations and standards like SEMI E187, NIS2, CRA, NIST, IEC 62443 and security management frameworks like ISO 27001
• Knowledge of program protection planning (e.g. supply chain security/risk management policies, anti-tampering techniques, and requirements)
• Knowledge of OS level hardening, network security, encryption technologies, endpoint protection, TPM, SSL
• Excellent communications skills and stakeholder management
• Good presentation skills
• 8+ years experience in a comparable role
• Experience with programming
• Experience with software for complex mechatronic systems
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams using agile process
• Experience writing systems software for any of semiconductor equipment, IoT devices, medical systems, robotics, motion control systems, mechatronics systems, electron optical systems, calibrations, image processing, process automation, wireless, cameras or sensors is a plus

Other Information

• Hybrid work for this position needs minimum 3 days in office
• Travel 3-4 times a year to support our customer sites
