Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Supervisor for our People Operations team in Malaysia. As the Sr. Supervisor of People Operations, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, enhancing people experiences, optimizing service quality, fostering cross-functional collaborations with our Centres of Excellence (COEs) and contributing to the overall success of our People Operations

Core Responsibilities

  • Craft and nurture the evolving vision of People Operations as a strategic partner and a function that maximizes efficiency.
  • Focus intently on data-driven insights and qualitative feedback to enhance employee experiences, engagement with COEs and reduce escalations.
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills, partner with the People Intelligence team to create insightful reports and dashboards.
  • Lead the Tier I AskHR team, take ownership of day-to-day performance metrics, ensuring that well-defined SLAs and KPIs contribute to a positive employee experience. Use metrics to effectively communicate the value of People Operations to stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead high performing, medium to large, global teams in an operations and service environment.
  • Demonstrated people leadership and management skills. Exceptional coaching and mentoring skills to develop talent for future.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with HRBPs, COE teams, and business leadership. Develop a communication strategy to align cross-functional projects, increase customer service satisfaction, resolve complex problems. Proficiently communicate with and influence executive leadership.
  • Energized by problem solving, thinking critically and quickly identifying root cause and corrective action strategies.
  • Passionate about identifying, leading & driving processes improvement, strategies, and innovation. Has led multiple continuous improvement initiatives by simplifying, standardizing, centralizing, and automating complex processes.
  • Master at managing and adapting to rapid change. Proven ability to effectively communicate and motivate teams through transformation.
  • Expert at managing capacity and knowing how to flex your team to meet the changing needs of the organization.
  • Identify HR knowledge gaps for top employee inquiries, Partner with COEs to update and maintain their existing content and curate all content into one unified platform laid out in a simple and consistent format that is searchable, interconnected.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills - directly and succinctly - across cubicles, organizational boundaries and cultures. Comfortable creating and delivering presentations on a variety of topics. Excellent facilitator.
  • Strong business acumen. You are an experienced professional with multiple areas of specialization.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high stakes and change-driven environment.
  • High attention to detail. Examples such as reviewing work content and managing system testing and quality checks.
  • Highly organized and able to efficiently manage multiple priorities. Meets deadlines.
  • Fluent in industry best practices and know how to leverage these to achieve world-class results.
  • Flexibility to adjust schedule as needed for global time zones.
  • Onsite role - Will need to come into the office 4-5 days a week

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university and a minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience and/or training.
  • Strong team management/leadership skills to build, drive, motivate a group of Tier I consultants in AskHR.
  • Experience in HR Operations/HR Shared Services, demonstrating the ability to lead, develop, and motivate a diverse team.
  • Good understanding of Tiered HR Service model within HR Shared Services processes and practices.
  • Knowledge of HR functional policies and practices
  • Collaborative mindset with exceptional team-player qualities, strongly focused on enhancing employee experiences and driving continuous process improvement.
  • Preferred experience with Workday and ServiceNow Case Management.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of delivering impactful presentations to leadership.
  • Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
