Meet the Team
We are looking for a Senior Director to lead the Marketing and Ecosystems teams for the Home and Life Business Unit (BU) in Austin, TX. The Home and Life BU is responsible for delivering innovative wireless solutions for the smart home and consumer markets, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, Z-Wave and proprietary technologies. This position will report directly to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of the Home and Life BU and will be a key member of the BU leadership team. This position requires a blend of strategic marketing expertise, deep understanding of ecosystem dynamics, and strong leadership skills to drive the success of our Home and Life Solutions.
The Senior Director will lead the go-to-market (GTM) plan and implementation for the Home and Life solutions and products, creating and launching comprehensive product requirements and solutions, interacting and impacting key customers and industry partners, and enhancing market and business growth working closely with partners within the business unit and across the company. In addition, the Senior Director will act as the chief of staff to the Segment General Manager and serve as the primary point of contact and delegate for the Home and Life BU, managing overall BU operations, processes, and alignment with cross-functional teams across the company.
Responsibilities
· Develop product solution requirements and drive GTM strategy for Home and Life solutions and products, including Wi-Fi and 15.4 products at a company level.
· Prioritize, engage, and influence wireless standards bodies, ecosystems, and industry groups to adopt smart connected solutions efficiently and effectively into their offerings.
· Technical advocacy of Silicon Labs in Home and Life markets, directly engaging with internal and external stakeholders to understand needs, foster collaboration, and evangelize our technologies.
· Enable seamless onboarding of Silicon Labs products into targeted ecosystems, and matchmake IoT end devices to ecosystems, and ecosystems to IoT devices.
· Work collaboratively across Marketing, Sales, and R&D organizations to enable great customer experiences and operational efficiency.
· Define and execute strategic initiatives and long-term plans of the business unit in close contact with the SVP.
· Operate as Chief of Staff and serve as the primary point of contact and delegate to the SVP of the Home and Life BU.
Skills You Will Need
· 15+ years of relevant experience in product management, marketing, business development, or related roles.
· Strong background working in semiconductor and electronics markets. IoT, wireless, consumer electronics backgrounds preferred.
· Demonstrated leadership capability to work with, influence, and level set priorities across multiple functions, levels, and organizations collaboratively.
· Deep knowledge of product management processes and technical product marketing.
· Ability to efficiently incorporate data analytics into decision making and reporting.
· Effectively communicate to and influence stakeholders across organizational lines and borders, both internally and externally.
· Think strategically to solve complex problems and organize those solutions into actionable plans.
· Attention to detail and ability to roll up their sleeves and get the job done.
· Bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, business, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $190,008 - $352,871 USD. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location where work will be performed and applicant’s skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus, equity package and a comprehensive benefits package.
