The Role:
Our world call Information Technology team is seeking a Technical Intern, Security Analyst. You will be responsible for providing support for computer network exploitation and defense techniques, including deterring, identifying, and investigating computer and network intrusions. You will also provide incident response and remediation support, perform computer surveillance/monitoring, identify vulnerabilities, assist in developing secure network designs and protection strategies, and audit information security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have had exposure to information security, information systems, packet analysis, intrusion prevention, and data loss prevention.

What you will do:
- Assist in conducting computer and network forensic investigations related to various forms of malware, computer intrusion, theft of information, denial of service, data breaches, etc.
- Perform packet analysis.
- Contribute to interpret, search, and manipulate data within enterprise logging solutions.
- You will work performing incident response and analysis conducting forensics related to the incidents.
- Provide support maintaining and updating security policies and procedures.
- Respond to security incidents and conduct post-incident analysis
- You will work on playbook automation for incident response and development of scripts, playbooks and integration for the XSOAR platform.
- You will research and evaluate new security technologies and tools.
- Assist in conducting security awareness training for employees
What you will bring:
- Basic understanding of operating systems, network/system architecture, protocols, and enterprise services, and enterprise architecture design
- Familiarity with threat intelligence and applied use within incident response and forensic investigations
- Basic knowledge of malware analysis and understanding attack techniques
- Basic understanding of information security principles and practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
Education
- Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Cyber Security/ Information Technology/ Computer Science or related field as the 3rd year or final year Students with strong academic record
