We are looking for a highly skilled Engineering Technician to join our Hardware engineering team. In this role, you will work closely with engineering staff to design, prototype, and test mixed-signal circuits. You will gather and summarize data, build test hardware, and prepare product documentation and analysis reports. You will assist with running systems through an automated test flow. We are looking for someone with strong troubleshooting skills, lab bench equipment and electrical test techniques with a knowledge of automated test scripting.

Responsibilities- Read and build circuits from schematics
- Build and test cables or special wiring harnesses
- Work with Engineering staff to assemble and test prototype equipment
- Document rework instructions and test procedures
- Implement the proper execution of test experiments, debug and fix problems to ensure test sequences complete with minimal issues
- Prepare simple reports illustrating experiment results
- Debug test setup (HW/SW) issues with the mentorship from engineers
- Inventory and lab management
Required Skills and Qualifications- Associate's degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or closely related field and 3+ years of experience
- Experience working with lab equipment: Audio Precision, oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies etc
- Experience working with lab test setups: evaluation boards, cables/connectors, connecting boards to test equipment
- Detail-oriented, proactive, quick learner with minimal guidance
- Strong organization and documentation skills to record, prioritize, and report validation setups as well as results in relevant methods
- Must be willing to work onsite 5 days a week

Preferred Skills and Qualifications- Experience installing/configuring Windows OS and software, driver installation/debug, general OS debug, and working with data in Excel
- Experience with schematics capture tools such as PADS
- Basic software knowledge in text-based programming such as C or scripting language such as Python, PERL or tcl
