Job Description

  • Sustain and Monitor all Tester repair and maintenance by ensure the quality and efficiency of the assigned machine in production.
  • Ensure correct settings and configuration are applied on the machine prior to use in Mass production.
  • Support equipment failure analysis from NPI to HVM stage on various test products with detailed perfromance and charatceristion reports.
  • Keep an eye for quality with detailed FMEA analysis. Create OCAP, FMEA, PM documents for the tester on a dynamic basis.
  • Experience using multiple quality tools eg. DMAIC, Cause & effect diagram,5Y, Pareto Chart, & Control Chart
  • Yield monitoring and develop action plan to improve yields and equipment downtime.
  • Collaborate with other Engineers and train technicians in Failure Analysis and Improvement Activities.
  • Supports Engineering Evaluations and other Qualification Activities as required.
  • Understand pogo pin based testing methodology and come up with key improvment plans.
  • Supervise maintenance activities are being carried out as scheduled and prescribed.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Diploma/Bachelors in Mechanical, Electronics or any other engineering field.
  • Minimum 6-7 years of experience in handling tester equipment engineering in high volume manufacturing, preferably in SSD/semi-conductor industry.
  • Knowledge in critical mechanical alignment, pneumatics and electronics.
  • Able to work independetly and come up with improvment plans for tester stability, Yields and improve down time.
  • Attention to detail, able to identify quality risks, process gaps and devise solutions with a systematic approach.

SKILLS:

  • IR Automation 4.0 , Data Analytics, Proficient in Microsoft Excel and macros.
  • Computer network configuration, basic python scripting, debugging skills.
  • Equipement Failure Analysis, Yield Monitoring & improvement
  • Handling of precision instruments and skills crucial mechanical alignment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and relational skills, with the ability to quickly develop relationships of trust and confidence with a variety of people and personalities, at all levels within an organization.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to effectively multi-task and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment
