Job Description

  • Have advanced knowledge of one module and basic knowledge of a second module, advanced knowledge of work prep., tooling, hardware, software.

  • Cover all related ASML Factories (supporting) activities to assemble and test qualified modules and submodules into a complete system, including the optical fabrication processes.

  • Work independently, based on procedures and practices and is subject to managerial control and review of end results, escalates to next level if out of scope. Is a sparring partner for GL on process, projects and technical topics.

  • Develop and maintains a network across several functional areas to use for problem resolution related to a specific module.

Education

Bachelor degree / Master degree in technical domain (e.g. mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, physics)

Experience

Solid experience in a technical production or equivalent working and thinking level.

Responsibilities

Solutioning / 2nd line support

  • Contribute to the solution of faults and takes the necessary initiatives and practical decisions to ensure zero repeat.

  • Solve technical and process problems within own focus areas structurally (several modules). Analyses problems of products and processes.

New Product Introduction

  • Manage New Product Introduction by applying knowledge in product or process development projects; foresees production problems in the design phase and improves the manufacturability of the product.

  • Actively involve in the release for volume takeover from D&E to Manufacturing.

Engineering

  • Collect and evaluate data and contributes to or produces partial designs.

  • Understand engineering problems related to own tasks and proposes different solutions to choose from, in an environment with some technical uncertainties. Work independently on diagnostics and maintenance.

Maintenance

  • Maintain, validate, provide up-to-date procedures, processes (work preparation) and blueprints/sequences for Factory execution.

Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze the production process, points out structural problems and bottlenecks, work out suggestions for improvements and initiates their implementation.

  • Continuously adapt, optimize operating instructions, process flow charts, routings, process parameters and indicators.

  • Drive assigned process improvement projects to in-time and successful delivery.

  • Identify missing processes / procedures (in/outside the factory) and creates them.

Team management / Coaching

  • Coach (senior) operators, educate less experienced colleagues on content of work (including processes) and answering questions.

Stakeholder Management

  • Represent manufacturing in D&E/PGP, ensuring an efficient NPI process.

  • Communicate at work center level with own module TS,CS,ME,SCE engineers.

  • Own level and 2 levels higher with (non) Factory departments (engineers, PL).
