Job Description:
Analog Devices is seeking an experienced Senior Process Integration Manager to lead a team of process integration engineers at our expanding facility in Beaverton, OR. Process integration engineering experience is a requirement and process module experience a plus for this role. This position reports to the Director of Integration/Yield and is responsible for leading a team of 8-10 process integration engineers for process qualification, process transfer, and process improvement projects. This group reporting to this role is responsible for ownership of CMOS, High-Performance Bipolar, BiCMOS, and BCD analog/mixed-signal manufacturing process flows across multiple generations of technology.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Management and leadership of a team of process integration engineers in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Leading teams of engineers in structured problem solving of parametric and yield signals.
- Development and oversight of Action Plans to drive statistical process control (SPC) metrics for electrical parameters.
- Management of engineers to elevate individual and team performance through mentoring, coaching, and performance assessments.
- Providing technical assistance to quality assurance with customer inquiries and audits.
- Leading teams to complete transfer and qualification of manufacturing processes to larger wafer diameters and to/from different facilities.
- Driving corrective and preventative actions (8D Process).
Qualifications:
- MS or above in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field with emphasis on Semiconductor devices and processing.
- 10 or more years of experience working in a production wafer fab environment.
- Leadership experience managing an engineering team.
- Knowledge of wafer fabrication processes: Photolithography, Chemical Mechanical Polish (CMP), Diffusion, Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD), Dry/Wet Etch, Rapid Thermal Anneal (RTA), Implant, Epitaxial growth, and Metallization.
- Knowledge of silicon semiconductor physics for Complimentary-metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS), Bipolar Junction Transistors (BJT), and DMOS devices.
- Knowledge of process flows and device structures for CMOS, DMOS, and diffused BJTs.
- Experience with and strong understanding of 8D, SPC, and FMEA.
- Strong knowledge of Failure Analysis techniques.
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills in difficult/diverse situations; level-headed and articulate as you will be interacting with executive management, key customers, and auditors.
- Strong problem-solving skills to lead teams in problem solving to stabilize and control electrical signals related to semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and changing environment.
