We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as Sr. Production Planner. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our semiconductor production processes, from device design to mass production. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in supply chain planning and production control, preferably within the semiconductor industry.
Job Responsibilities:
- Fabless production planning and control.
- Supply chain control from new device tapeout to mass production.
- Conducting Material Requirement Planning based on sales forecasts.
- Dynamically adjusting the material production schedule to align with the latest demand changes.
- Serving as the liaison among all related parties, including engineering, suppliers, and overseas production facilities, to meet the output plan.
- Interfacing with sales, marketing, and product management teams to maintain a two-way communication channel for resolving issues related to sales demand and production supply.
- Communicating with the fulfillment team in Taiwan to monitor the output schedule.
- Implementing inventory control through the regulation of production flow.
- Developing capacity planning strategies to meet demand increases.
- Managing substrate material orders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with an engineering background (preferred).
- At least 3+ years of experience as a supply chain planner/production controller in the manufacturing field, with a preference for the semiconductor foundry industry.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work flexible hours to collaborate with overseas suppliers.
- Aggressive and result-oriented mindset.
Annual base salary for this role in California, US is expected to be between $90,000 - $125,000. Actual pay will be determined on a number of factors such as relevant skills and experience, and the pay of employees in the similar role.
