A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As an Calibration Department Supervisor at MKS Ophir Logan, you will lead the Calibration and Service team in providing world-class service to research institutions, medical equipment and industrial manufacturers by calibrating their high-tech laser measurement equipment. In this role, you will report to the Senor Manager of Manufacturing/Operations.
You Will Make an Impact By:
· Becoming the site expert on all technical aspects of laser measurement equipment calibration.
· Promoting safety awareness and ensuring adherence to workplace safety protocols and regulations.
· Establishing and enforcing quality control measures to ensure process consistency and reliability.
· Developing and implementing activities required to meet production targets.
· Recruiting, training, and mentoring production staff to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
Skills You Bring:
· Bachelor's degree
· 4+ Years of job-related work experience.
· Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Ability to identify and resolve issues.
Preferred Skills:
· Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting skills.
· Project management experience, including the ability to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and manage project timelines effectively.
· Knowledge and experience with ISO9000 quality systems.
Supervisory Scope:
· Reporting Relationships: Direct a team of 8 individuals.
· Financial Responsibilities: $10m+ in sales.
