The role
Entegris is seeking a Program Manager within our Advanced Deposition Materials (ADM) business unit who will be responsible for managing the high purity packaging and chemical delivery system portfolio. The new hire in this role can look forward to leading cross-functional teams comprised of sales, manufacturing, supply chain, technology, finance, and other functional business areas. They will collaborate with a talented multi-disciplined international team to solve complex problems and deliver internal and external customer satisfaction. This position may require some direct interaction with our external customers.
What You'll Do:
- Respond to requests for product information from Customer, Sales and Customer Service as needed using Entegris Systems – SAP/ETQ Reliance/SPC/LIMS
- Interface with customer quality and account teams to help improve factory capabilities using a customer focused vision.
- Partner with Customer Quality, R&D, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Engineering to resolve customer issues and inquiries.
- Work with factory and supply chain personnel to ensure timely order execution, fixing short-term issues preventing shipments while identifying long-term improvements to business processes.
- Work with the Product Managers to provide strategic, technical, and pricing guidance to help generate sales proposals.
- Work with Engineering on internal product change control – Bill of Materials, Routings, Costing
- Review Post Service Exams and Failure Analysis Reports with Engineering to identify improvement initiatives for Entegris and our customers.
- Write and distribute Product Change Notifications to Entegris customers.
- Provide day-to-day product support to the Product Management Team.
- Manage Product Literature (Product Brochures, User manuals, Technical Sheets, and Promotional Materials)
- Partner with Product Managers on evaluation of internal investment and expansion projects
What We Seek:
- B.S. or M.S. in Engineering or Science field; ideally within Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Natural Sciences
- 10+ years of relevant experience in the semiconductor or high tech engineering or materials space; the ideal candidate for this position will have started their careers in a more technical engineering-focused role and then moved into a more business-focused position (i.e., product management, program management, and/or project management).
- Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, cross-cultural and multinational environment
- Good financial skills to include experience with return-on-investment models and developing cost of ownership models.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal groups and external customers.
- A self-starter who can meet goals with minimal supervision.
- A highly analytical decision-making process, and comfortability with a high degree of ambiguity.
- Ability to occasionally participate in telephone calls outside of typical working hours.
- Ability to travel up to 10-15% of the time.
Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
- Experience in semiconductor raw materials packaging and/or sub-fab chemical delivery
- Prior experience as a product manager, program manager, or project manager
- Familiarity with 8D Problem Solving Methodology
- Experience in the semiconductor materials business; the ideal candidate has a good understanding of semiconductor processes and technology.
