You Will Make an Impact by:
This SR Network Planner will be part of a team of Network Planners and work with cross functional peers in Customer Service, Sales, Planning, Operations, across factories and commercial subs to maximize customer service, and rebalance inventory levels at finished goods and raw material level across all organizations. The individual will be a strategic thinker, change agent driving improvements across a large global footprint with a focus on improving processes, functional skills, and standardizing tools.
Plans, schedules and monitors for the movement of materials through the production cycle. Evaluates vendor reliability, develops new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are inadequate. Monitors cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value. Develops specifications for new contract orders.
Supervision: Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
Skills You will Bring:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree or at least 5+ years of related Network Planning experience.
CPSM and/or APICS certification is preferred
Minimum of 2 years related Network Planning and Supply Chain experience (Production and Materials Planning).
1 to 2+ years ERP system experience (SAP or Oracle)
Good written and oral communication skills.
Distribution Center management
Fluent in English
