The Role:

Our site in Danbury, CTis seeking a/anEngineering Tech to join our team. The Engineering Technicianwill assist in pilot scale production of cleaning chemistries for the semiconductor industry. As a member of the Surface Preparation and Integration Formulations Scale-Up team, this individual will have daily interaction with chemical engineers, formulation chemists, analytical chemists and support staff.

What You’ll Do:

Blending of 1 liter to 120-gallon batches of surface preparationformulations that includes purification, mixing, filtering, and/or packaging

Create and maintain batch sheets, entering promptly data for batches as required, and storing of the files electronically

Maintain and troubleshoot equipment for metrology and production of chemicals

Maintain inventory(s) of various materials needed in formulations scale-up processes

Review, create, improve and adhere strictly to laboratory safety processes, standard operating procedures, work instructions, and other documentation as needed

Proactively communicate status, ideas, information, and changes to team

Learn new processes, systems, etc. with minimal supervision

Safely produce product batches on time according to specification following the work instructions (WI) while maintaining a clean work environment

What We Seek:

Associates degree in Chemistry or related field

Experience handling hazardous materials, especially corrosive and/or flammable liquids

Experience with or understanding of analytical techniques such as titration, conductivity, pH, viscosity

Experience troubleshooting and maintaining pumps, process control systems, and similar equipment

Meticulous attention to detail and safety

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

Able to work fully on-site

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

Proactive and a self-starter/independent worker, highly accountable

Experience in pilot scale chemistry manufacturing preferred
